“At such a delicate time for the whole world – states Marco Nespolo, CEO of the Fedrigoni Group – we wanted to add our contribution to the mobilisation of so many, hoping to bring some relief to the Ukrainian population, which has been hit hard”.
Together with Doctors Without Borders in Ukraine, the group founding will collaborate into securing medical supplies, personnel specialized in war wounds, distributing sleeping bags, warm clothes and tents to assist the fleeing population in neighboring countries.
Other actions in favor of refugees happened at Fedrigoni offices. In Poland, first destination of the hundreds of thousands of people who managed to cross the border, local employees have taken steps to welcome the Ukrainians, mobilized to raise funds and evaluating, where possible, possible placements to work. In Italy, particularly in Verona, families have found hospitality in premises belonging to the company.
Fortunately solidarity is everywhere, it has no boundaries.
