Fedrigoni is partnering with contemporary Danish artist Albert Grøndahl and Ark Journal to create a body of handprinted limited edition artworks. The works will be shown at an exhibition curated by Ark Journal, a biannual magazine and platform bridging art, architecture and design. Each of Grøndahl’s works will be printed on selected Fedrigoni Special Papers, further elevating the artist’s unique creations by providing a foundation of premium craftsmanship.
The body of work by Grøndahl will explore the concept of healing through nature. It will be entitled
Grøndahl will create a selection of works each with 4 editions, available for sale. All works will be unique: as the artist’s photographs each represent an individual exchange between himself and a given experience, this singularity is prioritised throughout his work, with no reproductions created.
50% of profits from sales of the limited editions will be donated to the Danish charity ‘Verdens Skove’, which works in support of forest preservation globally while additionally working to rewild Danish forests. Having served as a significant supplier of paper since its establishment in 1888, Fedrigoni is committed to the development of sustainability in the paper industry and the establishment of a circular economy.
Albert Grøndahl’s research driven and evocative work represents exactly the kind of creativity that Fedrigoni Special Papers is crafted to further elevate and enrich. The limited edition launched with a public pop up exhibition on the evening of the 13th April 2023, at Ark Journal’s studio at Frederiksgade 1, 2.th, in connection with the launch of Ark Journal’s first edition of the year.
