June is shaping up to be a brilliant month for the world of paper and greeting cards. From 2-3 June, the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, becomes the beating heart of the industry as it plays host to Progressive Greetings Live, the UK’s only trade exhibition dedicated exclusively to the greeting card world.
Designers, artists, publishers, buyers and retailers from over forty countries come together at an event that, year after year, proves the greeting card industry is very much alive and thriving. The numbers speak for themselves: the UK market is valued at approximately £1.53 billion, the average British resident spends £102 a year on cards… and 85% of those purchases are made by women.
Fedrigoni will be there, as always, alongside Gould Paper, their strategic partner in this space. At the stand, visitors will be able to explore an impressive range of papers and boards -smooth, textured, with inclusions, coated, uncoated, virgin fibre and recycled- all tested and engineered specifically for greeting card applications.
We will also be showcasing All the Best, a greeting card sampler that brings the possibilities of their papers to life: from folding to print, foiling, embossing and a range of creative finishing techniques that really do need to be seen to be believed.
